I bought this V8 a month ago, and am so glad I did! The suction is as powerful as ever—it amazes me what gets picked up. I like that it’s not as heavy as the V11. It’s a small difference, but my bad back notices it!

Very pleased with the Dyson v8, which replaced the v6 that I had had for many years. Lightweight but powerful. Mattress attachment was amazing....also love the power head for couches and fabric chairs.

Cannot vacuum the entire house on one charge and you have to press the trigger the entire time you are vacuuming…. Will never purchase a Dyson again.

The V8 is powerful enough to clean up in my feline only Veterinary Office. We have laminated floors with a few rugs at the entrances. The battery life on regular speed will last long enough to vacuum 1200 sq ft but on Max power, it only lasts a few minutes and will not do the whole office. The vacuum feels sturdy in hand & is not too heavy to hold onto. We had a little trouble figuring out how to empty the canister even with the diagram on the instruction sheet. Overall, it is better than the cheaper brand I had before.

I have had this Dyson about 2 weeks now and am very pleased with my purchase. It is easy to use and very light weight. It maneuvers easily and picks up using just the regular speed. I have not really had to use the max power setting to get the job done. The battery lasts long enough to do the entire house without losing a charge. This vacuum does not tend to suck up smaller throw rugs like previous vacuums which is also a plus. Not having to drag a cord around is super nice. I like the attachments supplied and find them easy to remove and attach. Seeing hair in the dust cup and not wrapped around the roller is great! Am
awaiting the complimentary cleaning attachments (furniture cleaner attachments) which hopefully will arrive before much longer. I expect they will work just as well as the other attachments.
