Works great but terrible battery life. Dyson says it is working properly if you get 5-6 minutes of operation on hi after a 5.5 HOUR charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great suction. Emptying filter is difficult

The filter is tough on the fingers and the instructions are pictures, it would be better to have words along with the illustrations. Also no description of what the tool attachments are for are there were many with the vacuum I purchased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this vacuum a couple of weeks ago, and while I like how well it works, I really wish it had an on/off button rather than holding the button down throughout usage.

Great vacuum!

I love my Dyson except for 2 things. One is I wish the battery lasted a little longer and the other thing is having to hold down the button to keep it on can get a little painful on the side of my finger sometimes. It does do a great job picking up dirt and dog hair though. I also find I vacuum more now because I don’t have to pull out the big, clunky plug in vacuum.

So far I really like having a cordless and powerful vacuum. My home is under 2000 sq ft and mainly hardwood floors so I can't comment on how this works on carpet. I do find it does a thorough job on area rugs. My only complaint is the trigger needs to be held while in use. I would prefer to be able to lock it into place like a power on/off switch. My fingers are a little arthritic so that would have been a nice feature. Ease of use is terrific and the power of suction is more than sufficient for my needs.

Love my vacuum and so light to work with

I bought it recently and enjoying using it. It makes it so much easier to get my work done. I love that the filters dry a lot quicker than those on my old vacuum.

A Powerful little vacuum

I love my new Dyson. It has super suction and pick-up power. It is light-weight, super flexible. I can get underneath my King bed, my chest of drawers, night stands, and my very heavy cabinet which holds the television. These furniture do not have to be moved. I’m older and this works perfectly for me. I love the way it charges so easily. I must say I wish it remained charged longer but everything else compensates for that. It’s GREAT
