Not what I thought

I just got this vacuum and was looking forward to using it. First the good: It is no encumbered by a cord, it has ok suction power.
Negative: It has a very small wast container so it fills up fast and therefore stops suctioning , you have to keep your finger on the button for it to work. The worse part is by keeping your finger on the button, your had hits up against the motor and the wast bin piece. It hurt my hand terribly; I got a bruise and my hand hurt and was really red. It is advised to wear heavy gloves to avoid hurting your had. So disappointed.

Worth every penny

Got my V8 on sale for 300 and it was worth it. No more dragging a cord around the house! It empties easily and charge lasts plenty long to do the whole home (1250 sq ft).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loving my dyson

I have been using this in my entire house. All the attachments are great. One thing I enjoy is that the plastic of this machine is smooth, making it easy to clean the outside of. I live how easy it is to open the dirt canister. I've wanted a dyin for many years and I'm so glad I got it. Recommend 100%!!

Another Excellent Product!

We now have 2 Dyson Cordless Vacuums and 2 Air Purifiers, I will admit the initial price is staggering but rest assured the Quality and Performance of Dyson products makes them an Excellent Value. We have 2 Great Pyrenees and their long hair made short work of all the other vacuums we tried. Our 2 Dyson’s make vacuuming a breeze. The reason we have 2 is I was so happy with our first one I bought one for the second floor of our home so my wife had one up there. I recommend Dyson products and would encourage anyone to give them a try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been through 10-15 vacuums throughout my lifetime and this is BY FAR the best! Everything from the light weight to the battery life. It is worth every penny.

Battery life is short

I have wood floors and carpet. It picks up just ok on the wood floor but only if I have it on maximum power. Does not glide through my carpet. It’s very hard to push. It’s also hard to keep my thumb on the power button while I’m using it. My hand cramps up. The battery only lasted 12 minutes and I had to put it back on the charger. For the price I would not recommend this vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have spent years with cheap clunky vacuums. Now, I have an incredible machine that picks up dust, dirt, fur, hair, and debris. It is worth the money.
