Totally worth the money. Went through two crappy amazon vacuums before finally biting the bullet and so glad I did. The extension nozzle piece is great. I am amazed by the amount of powdery dust it picks up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought the Dyson to replace a cheap imitation that lasted about a year. Love the Dyson! Only wish it had a headlight like the cheap one we had.

Arrived with bad battery. Switched to v12 slim!

I was skeptical to try my v8 with the many bad battery or short battery life reviews. Mine arrived with a bad battery. I just returned and upgraded a bit to v12 slim. It’s incredible. The lazer is a game changer. Long battery life. 10/10

The battery life is horrible. When vacuuming on max it lasts about 10 minutes if lucky and takes a long time to charge. It doesn’t make any sense
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This unit is light, easy to use and has maximum suction for even the small sand particles that are tracked in the area. I’ve ordered the V11.

This vacuum is exceeding expectations. It is lightweight and has great suction. Easy to empty canister and good attachments. I have no issues with the battery life. It is still very new, but I am very pleased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolute Worst

I’ve have a Dyson animal upright vacuum for years which is amazing This, on the other hand was very disappointing. The battery only worked for 7 minutes with the beater head. Then after a full charge only worked for 10 minutes without any attachment. Advertised for up to 40 minutes of use was extremely misleading. I returned it and will stick with my upright Dyson.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, this is Summer with Dyson. Thank you for taking the time to share your review of your Dyson V8 vacuum. The Dyson V8 cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). We are so sorry to hear that the V8 was returned.
