Great for pet hair

I’ve had the V8 for about a month now and it does great on my hardwood floors, transitioning to my carpet and pet hair

Overall I'm very pleased with the Dyson V8

The Dyson V8 is a product I would highly recommend. The things I really like about it are the way it vacuums dog hair (I have two and one is a golden retriever with long hair). I also like how quite it is when running....it is by far the most quite vacuum I have ever had. Even my two canine friends will allow me to use the vacuum on them while using the attachments that came with the vacuum. The only negative I can come up with is battery time....it can be somewhat limiting when using the higher setting but I have always managed to plan in advance in order to get my vacuuming projects completed without needing a recharge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great little vacuum- needs better battery life

This vacuum has great pick up but doesn't last more than 10 minutes. It takes me all day to vacuum my house. I can only vacuum 1 room and then have recharge before I can get the 2nd and then 3rd, and then 4th rooms done!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can’t believe how much it picks up! We are a family of 8 that live in a dusty area. I love seeing the results that I throw in trash after every vacuum.
