No to tile flooring.

As a longtime Dyson fan/owner, this purchase made during thanksgiving for my dad’s house in Orlando is not a good fit for his tile floors. It’s a good quick sweeper. I may have to upgrade.

Electric swiffer

This legitimately is a swiffer that sucks(no pun intended) it's good for detailing and small little messes this IS NOT a whole house vac though. We live in a 1200sqft 2b 2b apartment and thought that this would suffice for a whole house vac. Bad on us. Having had two puppies during its life trying to suck up shredded __________ (fill in the blank with anything) is a nightmare. It constantly clogs having to flip it take the head off find what's blocking it and then trying to power it through with the "max suction" switch, finally dig it out, reassemble, and use for 2 more min only to realize you just burnt up the battery trying to get it unclogged with the max mode. It gets exhausting. But! If you're looking for something to get in-between the seats of your car or couch cushions or for whatever reason have small particle sand like messes all the time this is your vacuum. Nich market but it works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good but could be better

Love the way it cleans the floors. Wish you didn’t have to hold down the power button for it to work. Have blisters on my thumb from holding the power button and pushing the vacuum across the carpet. I had to go back to using my old stick vacuum as it has an on/off button that I don’t have to hold down.

My granddaughters came over to clean my house before everyone gathered here for Thanksgiving, and brought their dad’s Dyson. I was so impressed by how much it picked up that I ordered my own. All good, except that zI wish it ran longer on a charge. Suction is amazing, it’s easy to maneuver and to empty. If only it ran longer on a charge!

Best investment

The biggest complaint or concern i read about was regarding the battery. The battery from empty to full takes 5 hours to fully charge but it's never meant to be completely depleted. It has a good run time of 45 minutes and is meant to be plugged in always so it always has a charge. I am completely satisfied thus far.

Dyson evolution

Still use the V6 from years ago but upgraded anyway. Glad I did, better performance all around. Particularly like the added suction, hair vanes and the easy bin empty. Improvements by evolution.
