Great machine

The ONLY drawback is the short battery life. Unfortunately it lasts less than 10 minutes before needing recharge. Otherwise it's powerful enough and super light.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too Heavy and Have to Hold the Trigger

Expected to like this stick vacuum more, but the head is very heavy and I get a blister on my thumb holding the trigger. Not impressed with this vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is first Dyson vacuum . I absolutely love my new vacuum. Specially its light and easy . Love the different heads it came with. Now i can vacuum my car anytime i want . Thanks to a little removable brush piece.

Should have purchased sooner!

I prolonged purchasing the V8 Absolute because there were so many mixed reviews, but now I wish I would have gotten it much sooner! I am single woman, in a 2 bedroom apt w/ about 1,000 sq ft in laminate flooring. The only carpet I have are runners in the bathroom. I consider myself a very clean - in an ADHD way - type of person, but this device picked up dust on the first run over my floor that I didn’t know existed being that I had just mopped a few days prior. From being able to clean my baseboards more throughly now, the floors, window seals, upholstery…anything I can find to clean up…I DO. And it’s fun. Using the regular mode I have covered my entire apt thoroughly without the battery running out. In max mode, I don’t even think it lasted 10 mins but realistically, there are very few occasions where I needed it. The true test was vacuuming the entire floor and going behind it with a microfiber mop to polish/clean with my laminate floor cleaner. The mop was soooo clean after doing my entire apt. It didn’t turn black or dingy from lingering dirt, or have any single strands of hair attached to it (especially after going thru my bathroom). I was thoroughly impressed! That’s how you know it’s doing a great job! For what my needs are, it is absolutely amazing.

Instructions? I have not even started-

I know this is a great sweeper, but I have no instructions and my specific model is not identified anywhere. The simple “picture” assembly graph leaves a lot to be desired.
Instructions please? For instance, I have opened the bin and cannot close
it…

Very handy to regularly deal with dog and cat hair

Grab it in the AM and take a quick run about the house. It’s much more convenient than getting out the corded machine.
