I have turned into a vacuum freak since I got my Dyson V8 from my kids. It’s so powerful and picks up the minutest particle. Love it!!!

Battery power does not last

Exited for first Dyson.
Unfortunately, battery life is subpar and not easily changeable. Have to unscrew to change battery. Should have designed a better way to change out the battery. For this price point I would not recommend.

Excellent vacuum

I’ve had this vacuum almost a month now and I love it. Easy to use, lightweight, and very effective. We have hardwood floors and vinyl & tile floors, this vacuum does an outstanding job cleaning up everything from lint & fur to cat litter and dirt. The full power is really great for the crevices where you need an extra strong suction. It also does a great job with our heavy rugs. I highly recommend this vacuum.

Not a big fan

Bought this 2-3 weeks ago and have been trying to return it with ZERO luck. Vacuum works fine, I don’t like having to hold down the power button constantly while vacuuming and when doing carpets there’s enough force to leave a mark on my hand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderful vacuum!

We have had the V8 for only a few weeks, but it’s a terrific machine! The way it cleans carpets compared to our previous machine is like chalk and cheese. Also when we use the different attachments to clean up small areas or hard to reach places, it scores very well!

Buying this was the best decision! As other reviews state, the battery life can be limiting, but it is SO lightweight and easy to use! I’m floored every single day how much it picks up! (I have started to vacuum every day because this has made it so easy!). If you are on the fence, buy it! You won’t be sorry.
