My wife purchased this for Christmas 2023 and at first I was skeptical due to cost and amount of plastic parts, but so far I am very pleased with the performance. Very easy to unload canister, wash filter and something I did not expect is the brush roller never gets tangled with hair and string like all the other vacuums I have had. This was always a real pain to have to remove the covers and use a knife to cut the hair and strings. With Dyson I have not had to do this once. Also the two attachments provide due an awesome job and have a very nice carrier to store them with the charger wall bracket.

We've had the Dyson V8 for about a month. Great vacuum for our daily needs. Love the hanger which allows us to recharge after each use. So far, it's great!

About a month with it. Two big flaws, no light to see what you are vacuuming and battery lasts so little. I would pass on the light thing but I have to recharge half way and finish cleaning later cause it just dies so quickly

Overall a great vacuum- could have better battery

I love this vacuum, and it works well for our small home but the battery dies fairly quickly (not on max-quicker than I’m used to).
I would recommend this to a friend!

A little disappointed.

The vacuum cleans beautifully but the handle design is not ergonomically correct. It is uncomfortable to continuously hold down the power button and run the vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
