Battery life is absolutely horrible

We needed a good vacuum and decided to spend the extra money and get this Dyson. The battery life was bad since we first got it and now about a year later with not a lot of use, and buying a new battery, we can’t even finish one floor in our house without the battery dying on us. For the money and the name Dyson, I expected so much more. Would recommend looking at other options before committing to such a high priced vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Skeptical at first but changed my mind: V8

I recently purchased it last week. When I first opened it, I suspected it was a used product because there seemed to be dust in the bin. But I dismissed it and thought maybe it was from the manufacturing process. The battery life has been great! I live in a 5-bedroom house, and it lasts enough to get through all the rooms (I vacuum fast). At first, I was very disappointed with the suction because it seemed very weak. I was starting to regret buying it. I have other vacuums, and they have excellent suction. So the V8 seemed underpowered. BUT! Surprisingly, even after vacuuming with the others first, the V8 still picked up much more. I've since vacuumed my room multiple times, and it picks up a good amount of dust and dirt each time. It's also a lot more convenient to use than the others. We'll see how long the battery and motor last. Overall I am happy with this Model even though I might want one of the more expensive models one day.

The BEST vacuum ever!!!

I had heard Dyson was a terrific vacuum and now I know it is. My long haired cat fur is filling up the Dyson instead of the couch, chairs, bed, and everywhere my Bella travels throughout the apartment. It's so lightweight and simple to maneuver around and under furniture picking up every speck of dust and hair with ease. I love my Dyson!!

FAULTY BATTERIES

Ugh, I was concerned when more than 10% of reviews for a Dyson product aren't great; and I should have really have read the 1, 2 and 3 star reviews more closely. Many faulty battery issues with this model. Reaching out to Dyson is 100% automated, takes way too much time, and the chat bot is annoying. Maybe with the new battery it will be a standard, high-quality product like I am used to with Dyson, but pulling the most integral part before use 1 isn't a great start...

I own several products from Dyson and love them all but I have to say this one is my favorite. It is so light and gets up all my dog's fur and he sheds like crazy! I would highly recommend!

Sucks, and not in the right way!

I was given this as a birthday present and within a few weeks, it stopped sucking anything up. It just sends it shooting all over, making a bigger mess. The vacuum sucks, but not the way it should.
