Should have bought this years ago!

Holds charge very well. Love the easy way the V8 empties.out into garbage bin. Good weight; doesn’t exhaust you holding it. Great tools too!

Very poor handle design

I love the weight and suction power, but the position of my hand while holding the handle gives me a blister!!!! No amount of repositioning helps! I’ve got small hands!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for sharing your review with us. We would certainly not expect a blister to occur as a result of using your Dyson product. If you are finding this to be your experience, we would recommend holding the unit lower down the handle to prevent rubbing or pressure on the top of your hand. Please also keep in mind that Dyson cordless vacuums will feature a runtime enhancing light touch trigger, which requires little pressure to run the unit as well. It may also prove helpful to ensure the unit is held with a firm, but not a very tight grasp, given that the light touch trigger does not require a very hard press or grasp to operate. If we can ever be of assistance with anything else, please do not take to let us know.

not what I expected

The hardwood brush picks up dust and cat hair on the sides and drags it along, rather than sucking it up. I have to manually clean the soft rolls after each use. Disappointed the large motor head doesn't turn like my last Dyson. This new one doesn't fit under my bed. On a positive note it does clean the hardwood floors nicely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Suction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tons of suction unlike those those Chinese knockoffs. Reason not 5 stars is price. Chinese knockoffs have additional good features ie. lights, adjustable lengths. But it’s all about the suction force of a vacuum.

Short battery life!

The battery only lasts about 10 minutes on high.
Had to return it. Very disappointed with this model

Perfect for my needs. Only complaint is what to do with all the attachments. Dysan shouldn’t be providing attachments without a system that can be installed to organize them. Something professional that complements the organizer the have for the unit that comes standard.
