Great product Does what is advertised.

We have a lot of fur babies. This is my 3rd Dyson V8. Didn't even think of going to another vacuum. Its just the best product out there for a house full of fur babies.

My dyson is not working and Im keeping touch with them, but problem is not solve it.
the costume service give me a very hard time, product is great if work, but if you try to contact them its hard. I need a new battery and maybe a new torque head.I sen video and picture to them. I never will buy from them again.

Works well but…

I like the vacuum. It’s lightweight and the suction is good. My only complaint is that the dust cup is very hard to release. It might just be mine. My friend who has the same model tried it and said hers is much easier to release.

This is my first Dyson, and I'm a disabled person, the reason why I needed a lightweight cordless vacuum, 'cause I was paying for a cleaning person that wasn't really cleaning... now I can do it myself and know that it's clean, one can tell the difference, and with this vacuum, the house stays clean longer, and we have 1 dog, 3 cats, and us walking around everyday... highly recommend it, thanks Dyson!

Very difficult to eject dirt from bin. Not like the previous model.

Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the dust bin on your new Dyson V8™ vacuum. To open the bin release door, you do need to pull up twice, rather sharply on the red latch. The first time you pull up on the latch, it will pull the cyclone up and out of the bin. The second time you pull, it will release the bin base door. You may have to pull rather hard the first few times as the latch can be stiff.
