Much better my old DC35

I bought because my DC35 battery was dying but at least when brand new was running for 15minutes on Max and not just 7 minutes like this V8, I returned for refund and bought a new battery for the DC35, last longer and my wallet is full again…..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

POOR PRODUCT QUALITY

Mr. Dyson invented an amazing vacuum but over the years it seems profit margin is more important than quality. The battery within the cordless drains and does live up to its guaranty making the vacuum useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). If you feel that your V8 might be malfunctioning, we do offer a two-year warranty on this product. Just reach out to our customer support at askdysonUS@dyson.com so we can help.

great power light weight just run time sucks

I Love this Dyson V8 for a suction power. The battery run time is what I do not like it isn’t long enough I cannot get all of my two rooms done in the time the battery will be running out.

Love that it's cordless and light weight

I love how easy and light weight it is, however, when I charge it, it doesn't seem to charge fully, it only charges 2 bars. Also, I didn't get the long attachment to clean corners. How do I order it?

Perfect senior arthritis vacuum!

I finally found a vacuum cleaner that is actually easy to use with my arthritic hands. The weight is light and well-balanced. The attachments are very simple to manipulate without a struggle, and stay put (lock down). I was also astonished, the first time I used it, how quickly the dirt collector filled. I thought my other vacuum/s cleaned sufficiently, but - wow!
The price seemed steep at the checkout, but now I see that I not only have the perfect piece of equipment, it is also an industrial work of art, simple, a joy to use, and very well made. Worth every penny!

Good switch from V6 motorhead

Got the new V8 absolute on a whim. I am so happy I did. Better suction on Ruggable rugs, the two different heads really make a difference on their respective surfaces, and a HEPA filter too! So glad I got this
