Surprised at how much suction it has, no battery problems, easy set up and easy closet installation of docking station. So far so good.

I really like this product and it measures up to all the reviews and product comparisons I read prior to purchase (wanted to be sure I got the right version for my multiple flooring types and pets). However - the BEST PART - my 13 year old son unpacked the box and attachments and put everything together fascinated. After figuring out how it worked, trying it out (first the house and then the cars) he declared, "Mom, can vacuuming be my chore from now on?" I may have been a little too quick to say yes :) but now when the floor needs doing he is quick to grab the Dyson and take care of business. I would have spent the money looooooong ago had I known this would be the result.

I find the product very convenient to use.very ease to use and put away. No long electric cords to get in way. I love how it is attached to wall charging at all time. The vacuum is very light. Easy to handle for someone my age .One inconvenience is that I do not have a wall compartment to put extra attachments I purchase.

Poor Battery life and not as efficient

I’ve had the vacuum for nearly a month and I think I’ll go back to my older vacuum. The portability is nice but the battery life is weak. I get maybe 15-25 min out of a full charge. It doesn’t seem to pick up as much as my older vacuum and needs to be emptied SO frequently. In my opinion for what it does its best use is for a small studio apartment but at the price it sells for it may not be worth it.

Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). Powerful Cleaner

This is my second Dyson V8 Absolute. It is awesome. Does a deep cleaning with its super suction. Love the option to use a hard floor roller or a carpet brush to clean f do Lori’s while still being light in handling.

Horrible battery life
