Owned the v6 and upgraded to the v8 animal and I am really impressed on how much more it vacuums up. Owner of 2 cats it keeps the house clean. Roller brush and dust bin are easier to clean. Great product.

My second purchase

This is my second Dyson in this model family, and I'm very happy with my purchase. It meets my needs for my small city apartment, and I have the wall charger mounted out of the way next to the washer/dryer in my pantry (I already said the apartment was small...).

Great little vacuum

Ordered this vacuum for spot cleaning. Works well. It’s light weight. My wife loves it because it is so easy to use. I like it because there is no cord to mess with. We’ve had it a short time and have experienced no problems.

Battery gone within 6 months

Unfortunately, the battery is making pulsing noises and then just stopping. Ridiculous for the price. Very disappointed

Not what I expected.

The motor is too week and does not produce enough suction power.
The battery last only a few minutes. Not worth the money.
I returned it within a few days of buying it.

V8 offers two modes of suction power, and up to 115 air watts of suction power. With regard to the battery life, that can vary from 7-40 minutes, depending on suction mode in use, floor tool, etc.
