I may marry this vacuum!

Turns out marrying a machine isn’t legal so I will settle for just loving it. After buying many cheap models with high hopes to turn around and be catfished I decided to take the plunge with a Dyson. It was worth it. I just had new wood floors put in and the floofy attachment glides effortlessly across the floor. I have 4 dogs so a daily twirl around the house and done! The best and most impressive performance was on the carpeted stairs. I’m embarrassed to admit how long it had been since I vacuumed the stairs but now it looks like I actually keep a clean house!! Powerful suction, quiet motor, light weight and battery life sufficient for the tasks at hand. Bravo!!

Bare floor Attachment

Wish there was an actual bare floor attachment. Don’t like using the one included. Attachments from previous models are not compatible with tge newer models.

Not for a large home

This quit after 20 minutes on the regular setting and after 7 minutes on the power setting. It was shocking! After that it needed to charge for 5 hours minimum. Returned immediately.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Feature

Both of my daughters-in-law have this model and swayed my decision to purchase one. L Love it! So easy to use. Powerful and no cord. I have a central vacuum system and haven’t lugged that big old hose around for weeks. We have two cats and I can’t believe what a great job it does on picking up the cat hair. I also like how easy it is to empty . Very well designed, too.

Great variety of attachments!

It's great to get rid of a corded vacuum cleaner, and this unit is much more versatile with all the attachments. Also very easy to clean and switch out attachments. The only gripes are that I really have to switch to the high power mode for many small cleanups and the battery doesn't last long at all at the high power setting. That said, I just have to plan accordingly and do what I can in the low power mode. Small collection compartment also, but it only takes a few seconds to dump it out and go back to vacuuming.
