Cleans well

My daughter gave it to me for Christmas. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have an on/off switch so you have to keep your hand on the trigger the whole time and the trigger is very touchy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Furballs beware

This compact vacuum picked up more fur by far on our berber carpets than the old upright. It also handles everything from hardwood floors to shag carpets! I love how easy is it to empty the canister, though you do need to do that frequently. It is also pretty darned quiet. The house critters no longer go scurrying for the shadows :-)

Disappointed in battery life

I just received my Dyson V8. I am so disappointed in the battery life and having to hold the trigger for it to work. I wish I knew about these things and I wouldn’t have bought it. I can hardly vaccum one room before the battery quits. I would prefer a wired vaccum. I would like to know if I can return it and get my money back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). Quality at its best

This is my 2nd Dyson I bought one and gave it to my son when he moved out I just got my new one and I'm a happy camper you get what you pay for and it's worth every penny.

Sucks great, but soooo tiny

The suction is wonderful what I would spect from a Dyson.
However, having to hold the power button down the entire time is Keats and uncomfortable. And the brush head is sooo small, it takes 50% longer to vacuum my small house than it did with my old Dyson animal. The canister to collect dirt and hair has to be emptied so frequently, it’s rather annoying. It’s way too small. (I wouldn’t recommend for a pet owner who likes to keep a clean home)

Caddy to hold all the tools should be included

Cordless vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this Dyson within the last week. I am loving it. It is so much lighter than my current vacuums. Don’t have to worry getting hung up on the cords. I do have to contact Dyson about information booklet.
