Awful battery

I bought this about a year ago . The battery doesn’t last more than 5 minutes after charging all day . Not happy at all with my purchase . Very pricy for not good quality. DONT DO IT

The Dyson V8 features up to 40 minutes of run time, depending on the power mode and tools used. The machine features two power modes: extended run suction mode (the standard mode) and the max mode. Max mode is designed to provide up to 7 minutes of total run time as this is meant to only be a temporary boost of power for particularly stubborn messes; the standard mode is best for the majority of cleaning tasks. Out-the-box, the V8 is commonly in max mode, so we always recommend checking the mode your machine is in before use.

Terrible DYSON 😔

Wanted this vac to keep up with my two doodles … this would be my third Dyson but the only cordless one, thought getting this would be quicker. The canister lid on the bottom didn’t have a quality seal on it, so every time after empty it I would have to make sure the bottom was sealed, I’m not one to complain about products but this one did it for me lol. Last night I went to use it and now it starts and stops with a full charge then shuts off, the whole thing gets extremely hot, and this is on the low setting when on max suction it it whines on high then stops. I use this in my everyday life. I’ve only had a little over a year. I would love a new one as I LOVE my DYSON PRODUCTS. Sadly disappointed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome machine!

I love my Dyson. It does a great job. I was constantly sweeping my hardwood floors & still not getting the fine white dust on them.
My Dyson gets this picked up. It also does great on my area rug & braided rugs.
Only thing I would change is having a bigger dirt cup. It does such a good job I have to empty it often.
I’m pleasantly surprised with the amount of dirt & dust it picks up.
Love it!❤️

We have one Alaskan Malamute and 3 cats. I was hoping this vacuum would live up to the hype and it has! I love that it’s so light I can vacuum daily and emptying is a breeze! It picks up all the hair better than I imagined! I’ll never go back to another brand!

Powerful machine

Got this recently as a second vacuum (another Dyson, corded). It is light, maneuverable and powerful, the battery lasts through several entire house cleaning sessions. It works great on all surfaces and picks up everything.

This vac is powerful and easily switches from hardwood floor to carpet. Easy to switch attachments and lightweight enough to use on steps with ease. Note that when used on high speed, your run time will decrease
