Very happy with this purchase

The only thing I regret is not buying it sooner. We have a Dyson hand vac and LOVEEE it, for some reason I was worried that the power from the hand vac wouldn't extrapolate into a full size vac...I could not have been more wrong. We have five cats so there's no shortage of fur in our rugs at any given time and this dude just zipped it right up. Fur and debris that we could physically see left behind by our full size industrial vacuum was no match for the Dyson. The carpets even FELT different after we used it. Do not hesitate on this purchase, you NEED this vacuum...you WANT this vacuum and you will regret it if you buy another one. It's worth every last penny.

Poor suction

I paid a premium price for Dyson but I am disappointed at the suction power it has got. Unless you use the maximum suction it wont work. If you put it in Max, it would last harldy for 10-11 minutes. Waste of my money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

V8 does offer two suction modes, and along with varying suction, there is varying run time. Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). If you feel that your V8 might be malfunctioning, we do offer a two-year warranty on this product. Just reach out to our customer support at askdysonUS@dyson.com so we can help.

This is my second Dyson. There’s nothing out there as capable and well made as a Dyson vacuum. It has great suction. The only thing that is unusual and a little concerning is it is noisy right out of the box. Much noisier than my last Dyson.

Battery only lasts 15 minutes.

Battery only last 15 minutes on full power. I am only able to vacuum 3-4 small rooms before it dies. Pretty disappointed.

Great cordless vacuum with loads of attachments!

I LOVE this vacuum! It’s light enough for me to use easily. It comes with lots of useful attachments that are super easy to change. Very well built. No cords to trip over or limit your movement. The rug attachment works like a dream! It is so well designed- dog hairs never get caught in the roller like my old vacuum did. Highly recommend if you can afford it! I think it was worth the investment!

Very Easy To Use

I've had the V8 for a little over 3 months now and absolutely love it. We have a larger one for the busier parts of the home and bought this one for the bedroom floor. It's super light and easy to use. Compared to the bigger one this feels flimsier, but I'm sure that's just due to weight.
