Great But.....

I wish there was an option for printed directions. My new Dyson arrived just as we went through a long time without internet access and consequently I could not use it for a long time. I still wish I could refer to cleaning instructions without getting on the internet.

Love the design and how light it is. Unfortunately, the sanction is good only on max which is good for about 20 min or so. It’s not enough for my whole house. Have to get something with longer battery time

Great Vacuum, Terrible Battery Life

I have had my Dyson for little while now and do love how great it picks up, however it takes me all day to complete my vacuuming. The battery life does not last more than 20 minutes at a time and it needs 3 hours to fully recharge. It is terribly frustrating to have to wait on this vacuum to recharge multiple times because it keeps dying before finishing. For such an expensive vacuum I’d expect to have a longer battery life so that I could actually use it properly. I have a golden retriever and a husky so it is important that I have a good vacuum to pick up all of the hair they shed. It’s a catch 22 because the vacuum itself does work very well, it just doesn’t last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, this is Kelly with Dyson. Your Dyson V8™ cordless offers two powerful suction modes - regular and MAX. MAX provides a boost of suction for larger debris or more stubborn messes. This mode should not be utilized for your everyday cleaning, as it will only give you about 7 minutes of run time. Regular suction is generally suitable for every household, and gives up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized tool). If you feel that your V8 might be malfunctioning, we do offer a two-year warranty on this product. Just reach out to our customer support at askdysonUS@dyson.com so we can help.

Battery life is very POOR!

I like the vacuum and the fact that I can just grab it and go to what I need to clean up quickly. However, I fully charged it and used it about 15-20 minutes at the most and it died. No red light came on and when I plugged in the charger it blinked green. Not sure what’s going on with this but I just got it a few weeks ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wish I'd bought this earlier

I bought this after resisting paying so much for stick vacuum... The cheaper ones are no where close to the performance of the Dyson! I wish I'd purchased this one first and not wasted money on cheaper versions that didn't work half as well...

I ordered this after vacuuming my whole house with a corded Vacuum which took hours not to mention the wear and tear on my back! Now it takes much less time and it is much easier not having a cord. Not to mention all the extra attachments that pop on and off with simplicity!
I would recommend this to a friend!
