This vacuum is not only saving my couch and floors…this vacuum is evidence that science will prove the existence of god.
In a month my home is cleaner than it’s been in years and the tense turf war over the couch with my dog has vanished bringing back our puppy love honeymoon.

I am returning it because my carpeted house is too large for the battery. I found the trigger “on” switch hard to hold and heavy on my hand. I did think the suction was great. Not for older folks.

I had an older v8 and it came with two heads, one for carpet and one for hard floors. I like the suction which is stronger than the old one but the single head for both hard and carpet floors is not very good. On my out door carpet it bogs down, on regular low pile it is even worst. Unfortunately I can’t use my old vacuum heads on the new v8 as they made some design changes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Planning to purchase a new battery for my prior Dyson Stick Vacuum I purchased about 7 years ago. Determined that it would not increase the battery time/usage time. Decided to purchase a new Dyson V8 instead. It is much quieter than my prior Dyson. Plus, it lasts 40 minutes instead of just 20. A little bit heavier but so far I can manage it. Works great! Handy and gets into small places where my upright does not. Pleased with this decision and purchase. Should last a long time.
