I bought this on advice from my sister-in-law and she was correct! Everything about it is great! From the light weight to the powerful suction to the easy of use including the attachments. Highly recommended!

Best vacuum ever!

I bought my vacuum about a month ago and I'm in love. This is my third Dyson, so clearly I'm a fan of their products. I wish I had bought this stick vac sooner. My floors have never been cleaner because the ease of using it has me vacuuming every evening. It picks up everything! I have seen reviews that complain about the battery life but I don't understand why. I vacuum my entire house with charge left over!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It does not have a 40 minute charge. Can only vacuum one room before having to recharge

So surprised!

At the dog hair I pick up every morning? Who knew? I use this every morning in our great room area and am so shocked at what it picks up. Strong suction, easy to charge, hangs easily in our garage, no cords to deal with but have a clean floor .
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's not broken don't fix it

To whom it may concern . On cleaning the brush on the Dyson V8 absolute. Used to be a very simple to clean your brushes now you have complicated it to the part where it's almost impossible why would you do such a thing.. my wife has long hair wrap itself around both sides of the brush bearing . It is impossible to get that off of there after cutting and cutting with scissors and pulling and pulling. Before you just simply pull it out brush and cut along the brush and pull out the hair .please put it back the way it was. I see new advantage to what you've done. Why re-engineer something that worked. I thought simple was what Dyson was all about.
Very disappointed.

Don't know why I waited so long

My Dyson stick vac replaces an inferior stick vac from another company and my full-size, plug-in vac. It's worth the investment if you consider how much you'll spend on multiple other products. The biggest incentive for a stick vac is its capacity for hard-to-reach spaces. It's also a great hand vac.

Not worth price.

After 2 years of limited use both V8 animal absolute started to require replacement parts, piece by piece. Could purchase new machine for cost of parts. For price of Dysons, I expected better quality and did not want to repurchase vacuum every 2-3 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
