Outstanding design and usability

I love how well designed the V8 system is. It hangs on the wall and automatically charges. Switching attachments is quick. Vacuuming under and around things is far easier than any vacuum I've used. My two favorite features are that it's cordless and very quiet. This is the first vacuum in my life that I've been excited about and it's so convenient to work with that I find myself doing touch up cleaning everyday. It has also replaced my car vacuum.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for people who don’t clean

I’ve my Dyson for an about a year and the battery life is a nightmare. Either bye yourself one or two dysons per room (if they’re small rooms) or expect to only clean one room a day. Forget about vacuuming your bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchen in one day. Also be ready for it to drive you so out of your mind that you have to make time to get online and write a horrible review instead of vacuuming like you planned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Exceeded my expectations

I purchased a Dyson refurbished V8 animal about 3 years ago. I am kind of late to the game, so I just now realized that the filters and motor housing need to be cleaned. Even before doing that, it worked very well. My condo is 1500 sq ft and it cleans it with one charge. I would (and will) purchase another when this one gets too old.

Very light & powerful

I love it for our new tile floors. It is so light and easy to use. My teen son loves to use it too. It has a powerful suction and attachment makes it easy to get under things and up high. I think the best part is that it’s cordless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Dyson V8 absolute. And I love it. The soft roller is amazing for tile floors. It’s definitely quieter but has the same power. I had a V-6 for over six years and it finally just couldn’t take anymore. I needed a new battery I figured I would invest in a new one, and keep that one for something else. The product is worth every dime, and I will never buy any other kind of vacuum.

I really love using this Dyson V8

I bought this after much consideration for what I needed to clean my home and settled on the Dyson V8. It has performed to my expectation and more. I love using it. It is so easy to whip out and vacuum up a floor, stairs, carpet etc. Love it. Highly recommend.

Powerful, convenient, quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned mine for 2 weeks, and I’ve used it clean everything! I have hardwood floors on first floor and steps, and it’s perfect for both daily and deep cleaning. I’ve used it on the carpet upstairs, tile in the bathrooms, vacuuming out my car, works perfectly! I love how easy it is to switch attachments! Also like how easy it is to empty it after each use, and cleaning the filters is easy. Overall, I give it a 4.5. The only thing I would improve is the power button. Would be perfect if there was an on/off switch vs having to hold the power trigger during use.
