Great power suction

Great if you have a pet, it gets every little thing, pet hair and dust!
There are some improvements that need to be done such as a turn on/off switch instead of holding the button, also was expecting it to have a light and it doesn’t so unusual coming from a brand like Dyson, many others cheap brands do. Reason I kept is because of the great power of suction it has, gets all pet hair, dust and even my own hair! Also the feature of the filter makes it very easy to clean. Overall I recommend.

I bought it mostly for cleaning around my bird’s cage, but it is so handy that I use it throughout the house! The various attachments are all thoughtfully designed and useful. Highly recommended.

Quick and easy clean up

My son and daughter-in-law have this same model. I bought one for my home for a quick and easy clean up around the house. It does a great job of picking up pet hair, crumbs and surface dirt. Light and easy to use. Highly recommend!

Good vacuum but limited run time

The Dyson V8 performs as promised, unfortunately the run time is too short to complete my primary living area. I usually can complete 3/4 of area before the battery is depleted (and not using boost speed) then back to the charging station for more power. I should have looked more closely at reviews and would have chosen a vacuum with at least 2 battery packs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While we're glad to hear that you've been so pleased with the overall performance of your Dyson V8™ vacuum, we're sorry to hear we've missed the mark with regard to run time. Your machine does offer two modes of powerful suction. In MAX mode, you'll receive a boost of suction for more stubborn messes or larger debris, with about 7 minutes of run time. In regular suction mode, you'll get up to 40 minutes of run time (30 when using a motorized attachment), making this mode ideal for everyday home cleaning.

Not the best choice

This machine isnt work it, full charge and only last 5-6 minutes on full speed and you have to hold the trigger the whole time! Definitely not worth the money.
