Worth the money!

So glad I decided to splurge and buy my first Dyson! Light weight, no hair tangling up on any rollers and it literally is so easy to use I want to vacuum even more!

Hardwood, tile and even my dirty window treatments are literally free from dust and dirt! I love it. So powerful you can get the whole house done in just 20 min. Buy it !

Not worth it

As others are saying battery does not last and is ridiculously expensive to replace. We use ours maybe twice a month for spot cleanups and worked well for a couple of years. I see all of responses from Dyson on power modes but in reality low mode misses many pieces of dirt even off a smooth hardwood surface so I find high power is necessary to do a satisfactory cleanup and I get about 5 minutes run time so dies in middle of cleaning.
Spent a lot on this and very frustrating that it’s basically junk now.
Don’t know why they have all the other recommended maintenance items on the filters etc. ours were always completely clean as we take good care of things. If you buy just use it and expect to toss in a couple of years.
Very disappointing product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is completely normal, and occurs with any device that uses this type of battery. Unfortunately, this does mean that the battery will eventually degrade to a point where it will require replacing. Certainly the strongest upright vacuum I've used. Well made and excellent battery life. A little pricey, but you get what yo pay for.

Love the wall charger. Lightweight and easy to use. Once you try a cordless vacuum, you’ll never want to use a corded version. Very easy to change attachments and empty the canister without getting your hands dirty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ive been going back and forth and finally decided to make the purchase, i am extremely disappointed! the battery life is awful it doesnt last more than 10 mins and takes up to 4 hours to fully charge! For the price of this they should do better!
