Great vacuum, not great battery life

I have been waiting to buy a cordless Dyson vacuum for so long that when I finally got it I was thrilled. I immediately started charging it while I hung the holder and organized all of the accessories (a lot). When I got to start vacuuming I was loving it until the battery died shortly after. Hmmm. Not thrilled with the battery life.
The other issues include the "trigger" not having a lock feature so that you don't have to constantly press the button. I also noticed that I have been developing a blister where I hold the vacuum in the crook of my thumb.
In conclusion I like the vacuum cleaner but I wouldn't recommend it especially considering the price it costs .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Battery and performance suck

The battery and performance is what I dislike from this equipment. It doesn’t hold enough battery life when I vacuum two small rooms. It lacks the strength of a basic vacuum. I see myself using my broom more than my Dyson as it takes forever to charged.

Great vacuum for seniors

Great vacuum for seniors. I am 75 year old senior with 2 Schnauzer dogs who lives in my daughter’s home. I wanted a vacuum to keep up my 2 room living area, This Dyson is perfect. There are no cords, so no trip hazard for me. It is lightweight, easy to store and ready to use. I use it daily to keep up with the dog hair and it empties out without having to remove any parts. I am extremely happy with my purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The battery stops & starts sporadically . I haven't even had it one week and there are already issues with the power .
This is probably my 10th Dyson vacuum but the first time I have experienced a problem immediately .
