We have the old corded Dyson and love it. Then we got this stick vacuum and we were blown away. It’s super light, easy to use and makes cleaning quick and easy.

So good we gave away our Dyson floor model! Light, powerful and effective. I particularly like the modified waste removal - MUCH easier.

I bought mine last week to replace an 11 year old one. This is so much better. The canister is bigger and the battery lasts longer. I just wish it had a switch start instead of a trigger start. That would work so much better with my arthritis

Great vacuum. Powerful with no cords. Used in between irobot vacuums in places the robot can't reach and for spot targeted clean ups. Kids use to vacuum their rooms. Only thing I dislike is the trash bin empty, bad design.

Battery completely dead after 2 years

My spouse and I have been huge fans of Dyson. I loved this vacuum. It is lightweight and makes vacuuming easy to fit in on the fly, but after 2 years the battery has totally died. First , the run time went down drastically and would only vacuum for about 30 seconds at a time. Now it is completely dead. Additionally hair would get stick in the wheels and make a horrible screeching, squeaking noise when vacuuming. I would have to regularly try and detail it by pulling hair out of the wheels with tweezers.
I'm considering purchasing another, more expensive model, but am afraid that the battery will die after a short period of time, so am likely going to switch to another brand.

This is our second Dyson upright and I can’t see us ever buying anything else. Before buying our first Dyson, we literally wasted our money on other (and lesser) brands without getting a vacuum that did the job properly or lasted very long.It’s true that you get what you pay for.

Great suction

I bought Dyson because I already have a ball model with the cord and love my old Dyson but since I have a knee injury it has been too hard to use. Glad I decided on the V8 model great in every way . Picks up everything all the time and lightweight too.
