Light weight and works great. If you use high power the battery goes faster but still love it. 😄

I am happy with my purchase of the V8,I have a small townhouse ,half hardwood,half carpet and thought it would be sufficient,but wish I had bought the V10,the V8 if full after one vacuum,maybe just because the carpets are new?

If you do have new carpeting, you may find that the first few times you clean, there will be more carpeting fibers in the clear bin of your machine. That's pretty common with new flooring, and with time should subside. This is my second Dyson stick vacuum. I really liked it. We travel in a Motorhome and it is such an important accessory for us. Then after many years it was time to get a new one. I really love this one. The feature that empties the canister is amazing. So much easier to use. I have two long haired cats and this machine gets it work out and delivers every time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My son and daughter-in-law bought this for me as their dog was visiting me and sheds a lot! I am so impressed with how well it works to pick up dog hair and dust. It is very easy for me to use and the battery life is very good on the lower speed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good at first, then returned to store

I was liking my new vacuum, even when it was missing an attachment, but after 2 weeks the battery wasn't lasting more than 5 min after being fully charged and had to return to the store. Im still looking for another Dyson, but apparently the battery not lasting or missing parts is a common issue with this brand and for the price I don't know if I should start looking for other brands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
