They are made to out live the warranty. They work good and do the job but this is a replacement for the old one. Maybe I got a lemon. not sure. We'll see.

Stick vacuum is nothing but trouble. Had some may parts replaced. Finally replaced whole vacuum and it doesn’t work. You have to wait 4-6 weeks for the replacement and after that it still didn’t work. Absolutely the worst experience never never again.

The lever to open the dump basket , not only was very difficult to open, and the broke off.cheap plastic.

The battery only lasts for 30 minutes at a time.Had i realized that before i got it, i probably woudve gone with a different one, like a corded one.

when you pay that much for a stick vac you expect it to work. Mine arrived with a faulty motor so it didn't turn on. Yes they mailed me a new motor but I had to install it.....ridiculous, I should not have to invest my time fixing an expensive brand new machine like that.

I have had my Dyson for about 3 weeks and absolutely love its performance, maneuverability, filtration, and rechargeable battery. My only complaint is that the handle does not seem to be designed ergonomically and is not very comfortable. The power button must be held down by the forefinger continuously and there is constant pushing forward and backward of the vacuum, causing a blister on the outside of my right forefinger at the first joint and there is irritating contact between the handle and the top of my right thumb, which is close to causing another blister. This is an unpleasant result and might be mitigated with changes in the design of the handle.
