The suction is great but it is difficult to put together and take apart after vacuuming. Concerned that plastic parts may break.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this vacuum a couple of weeks ago and I could not be more pleased! This is my fourth Dyson vacuum,my second rechargeable.The suction is Amazing.There are numerous attachments for all kinds of cleaning.Even one for the seats in your car.The entire vacuum comes apart for cleaning purposes.You will be blown away by the amount of dust you didn’t realize you had after vacuuming with this machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros - super quiet, lightweight, super agile to move around corners and furniture, battery seems long lasting, pet and people hair doesn't collect in rollers, convenient to store hanging on charger and remove for use, like the easy self-cleaning dirt collection tank without having to remove attachments, cordless so it's convenient to use anywhere
Opportunities - needs a light on front of floor and carpet attachments, need power switch hold feature (on and off), head too thick to get under low bookcases or sofas, wish storage holder with charger had a different configuration to hold more tools
I would recommend this to a friend!

CAN NOT EASILY EMPTY OR TAKE APART TO PUT ON DIFFERENT ATTACHMENTS. TODAY AM STRUGGLING TO TAKE LONG PART OFF TO USE FOR SMALL JOB. WOULD NOT VACCUUM UP SMALL SHARDS OF BROKEN GLASS. RAN OUT OF CHARGE YESTERDAY AND IT TOOK 5 HOURS TO RECHARGE. TOTALLY FRUSTRATING MACHINE. MAKES CLEANING HARDER THAN IT SHOULD BE. OVER PRICED PIECE OF GARBAGE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All of the attachments are quick release on this model, and should easily come off by depressing the red latch and pulling the attachment right off. With regard to charging time, your machine will take 5 hours to fully charge the battery. We'd be glad to troubleshoot these issues with you. Horrible Battery Life

For the price battery life is absolutely horrible. I don’t understand the positive reviews. The battery dies before even getting though the bedroom. It take too long to charge so can’t finish cleaning the apartment. About five hours of charge provides not even 10 mins of max suction time and then the battery dies, regular suction lasts a bit longer but it just does not offer enough suction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It sounds like from your description here that you may be using your machine in the MAX suction mode, which the machine will be set to right out of the box. This mode provides a powerful boost of suction power, with the trade off of just about 7 minutes or so of run time. Regular suction mode should provide sufficient suction power for your everyday cleaning, as well as longer run times.
