The vacuum itself is fine. I gave a low rating because it does not come with a paper manual. I do realize that the information is available “on line” but that is HORRIBLY INCONVENIENT!! It’s MUCH FASTER to just grab a paper manual and look quickly. I HATE having to grab my tablet/computer turn it on and search for the website. By the time I do that I could have already answered my question by simply LOOKING AT A BOOK. P. S…….not EVERYONE HAS ACCESS TO THE INTERNET!! I do but there are still millions of people without that option. You make enough money on your products to be able to afford printing manuals for your products. VERY DISAPPOINTING !!

A fully charged vacuum ran less than 30 minutes. The product is brand new.

Very disappointed with this vacuum. I have never had a vacuum that didn't have a floor light. Emptying the bin is very cumbersome. Have to be on my knees to get under furniture. Having to hold the on switch constantly, no one and off switch, is such a pain. Doesn't fold or stand alone. One setting for floors and carpet. Had high hopes for this vacuum but it's below an entry level for a huge price. If my husband hadn't thrown out the box I would have taken it back.

If all you care about is dropping a large amount of cash for being a member of the DYSON club? Then this “baby” Dyson is for you!! It looks pretty hanging on the wall because you probably don’t actually clean your own house. You hire someone to do it for you. BUT IF YOU have children and pets. If you have dust and dirt. If you LIVE in your home and need to clean it??? THIS IS NOT THE VACUUM TO BUY! Trust me!! I am a career “stay at home mom with kids and 2 dogs. Vacuuming is my religion!! I do it twice a day. I jumped on the DYSON BANDWAGON and quickly bailed!! I was so excited AT FIRST. Then I realized first go around that using the max setting too often was a BAD IDEA! The battery died after 7 MINUTES!! What? Ok. Lesson learned. Charge. 2nd attempt- this time NO MAX. I begin. 24 minutes later, BATTERY DEAD AGAIN!!!! This is NOT the vacuum for me!! I ACTUALLY CLEAN!! I takes me 20 minutes JUST TO VACUUM the STAIRS!! I don’t have time for multiple charges! TO DYSON, y’all need to go back to the drawing board on this one OR ADD a good old fashioned PLUG IN!!! RIDICULOUS!! I would give this negative stars if that was possible!

I am very pleased with my Dyson V8. My only complaint is that I wish I didn't have to hold the power button the whole time to keep it running. Would prefer an off/on switch.
The suction on this vacuum is awesome! It would be the best vacuum ever if I had purchased one that was corded instead of cordless. The charge does not last long enough for me to vacuum my entire house at once and my house isn’t very big.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The battery doesn't seem to stay charged for very long. Also, there needs to be a lock button so you don't have to continually hold the "on" button down.

I have been using this vacuum for three weeks, and honestly, it's performance is good but battery life is very poor, with fully charging only last about twenty minutes, I have to use it very fast or recharge to finish the job, and battery takes long time ro recharge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
