The battery isn’t meant for a lot of cleaning. You gotta move fast. The battery runs out and to get a secondary battery will cost. I’m a bit disappointed. The suction is great. The battery sucks.

NO ON-OFF SWITCH and SMALL WASTE CONTAINER

I have 2 golden retrievers who shed A LOT. My boyfriend has always been a Dyson guy and suggested I get their stick vac. My previous stick vac, which I LOVED, was Orelco and they went out of business. My complaints: I HAVE TO HOLD DOWN THE SWITCH THE ENTIRE TIME I USE IT!!! REALLY??? This is ridiculous and actually hurts my knuckles. Which of their "brilliant" engineers couldn't come up with an ON/OFF switch like every other hand held powered device (other than a skill saw LOL).
The other complaint : the Size of the dirt container barely gets me through one room without having to empty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not my best purchase.

I bought this a couple of months ago. A bit disappointed in the battery life and suction. It’s ok for hardwood floors but struggles on carpet. If you want a Dyson, stick with corded vacuums. I would not recommend this cordless vacuum.

I got my first Dyson which is a V8 a month ago. Not happy because battery runs out after an hour even if it is fully charged. Not expecting this kind of performance with this brand!

I charge this and it only lasts maybe 20 minutes at a time. You have to hold the button the ENTIRE time your sweeping (never had a vacuum that did that). It won’t stand up on its own unless you drill the bracket into a wall to set it into. Very disappointed. The actual cleaning part does well but the other factors make it not great.
