I just used my new vacuum for the first time and the battery didn’t even last long enough to finish a small bedroom. I had to charge it three times to use it throughout my small townhome. Dyson is sending me a new battery and hopefully that fixes it, but not what I was hoping for when spending so much money on a vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I enjoy how light weight it is for this old body. I can vacuum cat hair very easy.

No it is horrible no power and looses a charge fast. I purchased 2 and both the same!

We were really excited to get this vacuum but we’ve been disappointed. It won’t stand on its own so you either have to lay it down and prop up somewhere if you need to live something while vacuuming. You have to hold the trigger down the whole time you are vacuuming so if you’re vacuuming the whole house then your hand will hurt. The suction is too hard to where it’s super hard to push on carpet- even in the regular setting. The battery also does not last long. This is not a functional vacuum. Very disappointing.

This vacuum was terrible for me and my wife’s needs. It would only stay charged for 10 mins or so at most. Very bummed to have to go through this issue with a brand new product that I would say was not an inexpensive vacuum either, and for it to preform this way was extremely disappointing. I’ve always like Dyson products but this one really really upset us and tarnished our perspective of the brands performance.

I've used this vacuum on max two times and the battery only lasts about twenty minutes, not enough time to vacuum four bedrooms a twenty minute runtime it's unacceptable

This was given to me as a Christmas gift. Initially I was thrilled it was a Dyson. Upon opening and putting it together, I realized two things that were huge disappointments. One is the charging station has to be hung on the wall with screws. It does not have a free standing stand to keep it upright. Secondly, to keep the vacuum running, you have to keep the power button pushed in the entire time. There is no “on” button. My hands are arthritic and this is not helpful for me. I have been so very disappointed in the overall design of this vacuum but can’t return or exchange it because it was a gift.
