Use it about a week and a half needs replacement battery already. I should’ve just returned it.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago, because I loved my old one. When dumping the entire canister comes off on the new one. My first one lasted for several years, which is why bought another one, but if this continues it will not last 6 months.

This is my second dyson and it won't be my last! It is the absolute best vaccuum cleaner on the market. Excellent suction, is as advertised I buy them when they go on sale!!!!!!

I would not have purchased this vacuum had I known you have to hold the trigger continuously while vacuuming. This is especially difficult for those of us with arthritis. I had to purchase a trigger lock made by a third party. Very disappointing waste of money.

Although I wish that my Dyson stayed on "High Power" for more than 7 minutes and did not need 5 hours to fully recharge, even a low power this machine is terrific. I fly through the apartment without worrying about tripping on a power cord, the suction is wonderful at any setting. It is highly maneuverable, the bin is easy to empty and I am astounded by how much the Dyson picks up in my clean apartment. Its noise level is very low and it is pretty easy to hold in your hand. So, in short, I recommend it.
Only runs for about 10 minutes before it needs recharge

I received this item as a Christmas gift. We moved into our new house in March 2026. As soon as we settled, I started using my new Dyson V8. The battery does not last long at all. Maybe 5 to 7 minutes on regular suction. I’m so disappointed. Because it was a gift, I have no receipt to return the item. I’m stuck with a vacuum I don’t like. I really wish I would’ve got the Dyson V10.
I love the suction and power this vacuum has. The handle placement is a bit weird. You have to hold down the start button the whole time... Causes my hand to blister at my top thumb knuckle. I contemplated returning it. I decided to keep it since the suction is so great.
