I have a Dyson vacuum cleaner that I purchased 17 years ago and its still running great, so I decided to roll the dice on this cordless vac since I have all hardwoods on the first floor. This versatile vac does not disappoint. For quick, tough jobs I can put on max power, and use it like a dust buster for my steps - goodbye to tripping over cords. For my carpet areas, I'm not getting the big vac out - just using the cordless now. My house stays clean because I don't dread getting out the big vacuum. It is a good investment.

I’m always a big fan of Dyson . I already got 2 Dyson v8 one for the lower level of my home. Very handy and definitely produces lesser decibels. My previous V8 still works great after 6 years!

We love the Dyson V8 stick vacuum. This is our second Dyson purchase. The first was a Dyson Animal 2. It's still running like the day we brought it home. The V8 is light, easier to maneuver from carpet to hardwood floor and can easily reach under the bed. The 40 minute runtime is sufficient to cover our 2,00 foot home. It's very easy to empty the debris chamber. Just hold it over the trashcan and pull up on the latch. Highly recommend this affordable Dyson!

In general I like it. It works good, but it’s very noisy on a regular setting and works quieter on a max setting. Also the battery on max setting only lasts 20-25 minutes and then you have to wait for 3-4 hours to completely recharge it :(
