Very nice router. Easy to set up and much faster than the one I was renting from my ISP. It will be even better as the build out the software to support it, especially the parental controls.
Easy setup, but did not improve drop outs or spotty coverage as I hoped. I may try to setup a wired backhaul on all 3 units to see if coverage improves.
Works well with my AT&T gigabit fiber internet. Not as dramatic an increase in speed from my AT&T extenders, but does provide better coverage. I have 2 Wyze Pro routers for a 2800 sqft 2-story house.
I bought a 3 pack because it reduced the price per unit. Knowing that I only need 2 for my house I was going to sell my mom 1. I setup my first one in about 1 hour. Took a few trys for it to get the IP. After that I named the device, networks and set passwords. Device lost connection for about 10 minutes. I wanted it out and finally started working. The second device at my house was even easier. After I named it had the same issue with the 10 or so minutes of it not working before it was fixed. This was not the update that I also had to do. My home internet was great after that. My experience trying to set this up at my moms house was so much worse. It took so many times of restarting it to find the IP. After it lost connection it wouldn't even let me name it. I restarted it and it asked me to name it so I after trying to set it up it wouldn't save the information tried it a few times. So more times of restarting the device and trying over and over I gave up. I took it back to my house and got it hooked up after the same setup for my second box. I do really like it now that my house has a much better wifi signal. But I did loose out on getting some $ back because of it not working at my moms. So I would still recommend this router
This was easy to install and 2 work great to cover out house. I had to move the master router a bit so the satellite router would connect. Great coverage throughout our hiuse. Much better than before!
