Great router I think there should be a lot more you could be able to do in the app not enough changeable settings

Excellent signal, easy to set up. We no longer have dead spots in our home. We are able to have fast connection on all of our devices. The only thing I wish I could have is that both my husband and I could have access to the devices connected to the router through the app.

HOPING IT'S JUST ME, BUT I CAN TELL NO DIFFERENCE ANYWHERE. I CAN'T FIGURE OUT ANY REASON. I HAVE RESEARCHED AND KNOW THAT IT;S ATTACHED TO MY WIFI CORRECTLY AND THAT'S ABOUT THE ONLY THING I KNOW THAT COULD BE CHANGED. I DO HAVE A DIFFICUT TIME GETTING HELP FROM WYZE, BUT NOT GIVING UP!

Nice easy to use router. Set up was easy, I did the more advance setup which is not the default since I wanted to control the 5ghz channels for set up of cameras that work on the 2.4ghz spectrum. This made things kind of a mess. So I basically adjusted it back to all frequencies having the same id and password so my devices can use the best avaible channels. There is actually an option under advance settings to turn off the 5ghz for 30 min so you can set up 2.4 ghz devices ( very handy, thanks). I had read that the unit can get hot. I have had no issues. It sits in the same place as my previous router and temps and signal strength are all similar. As time goes by I will adjust locations of the 2 routers so I ca. maximize signal strength. No amazing differences between this and a similar unit I had previously that died due to power bumps. I had replaced short term with a cheap WiFi 6 router, this was a much better improvement as the cheap one made my cameras a slow painful process to use. It’s the little things that make a big difference. If you want to buy, keep checking the website, I had signed up months ago for an email for availability but was never notified :( only bad experience so far :)
