Fast

Setup was real easy and seemlesly integrated with my network of 30 plus devices. So far has been real fast and has not lost signal as the old router used to. Checked the signal throughout the house and it is either good or very good. Still is kinda new but so far I am really impressed and feel it was a good investment.

Fast and Covers everything

It does what it claims to do. It is very very fast. And covers my entire 3,600 ft house plus the entire pool deck and way out to the garage and even out to the driveway. I couldn’t be happier. The management app is easy to understand and navigate. Buy one you won’t regret it.

Great router... but

I love the range and performance but the router reverts to factory default settings every time it loses power. One time it even left the network wide open with NO security enabled. Resetting passwords and turning security settings back on is a pain. This should be a simple firmware update.

R8000P is Awesome

Netgear is always the best choice for networking, security and device management. This particular router is the fastest for 1gig service, it works well with Spectrum. It took 4 minutes to setup, connecting and configure the router and it works flawlessly. If you are gun-shy about any router, pull the trigger and buy this model.

This is the second Nighthawk wireless i have bought and continue to work great. The install/ set up was easy and I love the notifications from the app keeping track of all activity!
