Wifi Connection Drops

I`ve bought this router in August 2019, every now and then the wifi connection from the router drops and becomes dead, everytime I call the customer care they install the firmware and change the channels, it keeps repeating any solution. I`m feed up with this router.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So Far, Pretty Good

Set up was fairly easy. Performance has been very good, except range is a bit less than expected. I really like the App, except the “connected device” functionality does not appear very accurate-even when devices are in airplane mode, they show up as connected (sometimes showing a wired connection).

Just randomly decided it's not going to work anymore got as a gift so the "complimentary tech support for 90 days is basically useless unless you have issues within the first week of possession. Wouldn't suggest it to anyone it's crap

Terrible Support for Netgear's Bad Firmware

I bought this router for it's great coverage and speed, which it has, but they shipped it with a bad firmware that isn't upgradable. You will find many people have this issue that understand that updating firmware and the QOS database are very important for security and prioritizing traffic. Do a little research before buying this router and Netgear in general. They will not support this product after the initial three months. Get ASUS instead. They back their product with great support.

Problem loading websites. You have to load them twice to workOpened support ticket. NetGear will not even reply. I will return it.

Not sure if it’s my internet provider or my router. The features on the router are great, but the signal strength not so great. It will lag at times and not work at all.
