This router is easy to setup and definitely has rang on the 5Ghz. I turned off the 2.4GHz and only used the 2-5GHz. On the first 5GHz it’s all Tvs and gaming consoles, laptops, and security systems, second 5GHz phones and family.Also worth mentioning is to do an update on the router before setting it all up to your personal settings

Great router for your internet!

The best router you can get is always from Netgear. The Nighthawk X6S R8000P does an excellent job covering my home with wifi with high speeds. Im a gamer, and during online games I have not experienced any lag with this router,which is amazing. I highly recommend this router to anyone looking for a high end great router.

Good features and dependable

I've been using the X6S for over a year and it has been reliable with good speeds and range. I've had one of the antennas break as a result of user error but that hasn't caused any performance issues.
