Covers both floors of my house well.
I purchased armor last week and never finished installing. Support indicated it doesn’t show purchased on there end. I am still waiting on a resolution.

R8000P impressive improvements.

Very pleased so far with the router. Easy to set, easy to control, many options, good design. Pretty stable. Great speed. Stable operation. Nighthawk app. is big plus. Improvement from R6400 that I used prior R8000P.

Good but problematic

Cuts out during the middle of the day and won’t come back online unless we restart router. It is failing a software update or something and so it stops providing WiFi and Ethernet when this happens. Been good for awhile, just now starting acting up a few months ago.

Recommend for purchase

We got the Nighthawk X6S to replace a different Nighthawk router we used with our Spectrum modem. It was easy to setup as I already had the app installed and so far with all devices we are not having any WiFi issues anymore. Nothing to complain about. Though I will say it is helped by the fact we direct plugged my boyfriend’s Xbox/pc into the modem. With multiple tv’s going, phones, iPad’s, laptops, oculus and a ps4 the WiFi signal has been top notch. Definitely recommended!

The router is great and includes good security. My only issue is that I cannot get the parental control through Circle to work. Besides that, great router.
