Great WiFi Coverage

Was skeptical when paying what I did for this unit but glad I got it. Excellent coverage throughout my split level home for numerous devices from smart tvs, personal, home, security and other wireless equipment. Had family in during the holidays and it handled the multiple users and increased traffic superbly!

Netgear Nighthawk

The Netgear Nighthawk is a drastic improvement over my other Netgear router that was 13 years old and still working fine, but he nee Nighthawk setup was easy because I already had a previous Netgear router, the App used for setup is also easy to download and Navigate, the speed is extremely fast even with the limits my cable company has with its system, the only complaint I have is the range is better but I expe ted more with 3500 square feet of coverage, I still on a two story house don't receive the signal strength I felt I should have with this router, I did hours of testing moving the routers wings and finally found a aiming point with them that was okay for upstairs. I still highly recommend this router but I still would suggest a Extender if you want maximum coverage.

Excellent Router for a Large Family

We purchased this router at the advice of our internet service provider. We have 5 kids (age 12 to 20) who use a lot of internet! We have never had any issues with this router. It has worked perfectly for almost 5 years. I will definitely shop Netgear first when we are in need of a new router.

Absolutely the BEST

I have had nothing but Netgear routers, this one has the BEST coverage of any that I have ever owned... Further range including inside my pole barn (metal building) from the house 30' away including excellent coverage at the back of my property 250' away.... I would recommend this router to anybody !!

Good, but has some flaws

the netgear nighthawk x6s ac4000 is good, but sometimes it will have some problems and will need to be rebooted a couple of times for it to work. this issue is a rare case though, but it’s annoying when it happens. great router otherwise :)
