Almost ideal, but not quite

This tri-band router is fast, and efficient. It can handle a demanding workload. It's very configurable and reasonably priced. However, many of the features that Netgear tauts and advertises require paid subscriptions: Inc. VPN, firewall, and parental controls. So to get was stated on the box you have to pay more than the price on the box. For those who are seeking are for those features, ASUS is a better alternative. Shame on Netgear.

Excellent purchase of a router. I love the nighthawk app and extra levels of security including Vulnerability scans that prevent phishing attempts from text messages via phone or email messages.
