The software is simple to use. It does take a little while to understand the software options but it’s not hard to understand. I tinkered some with settings and have gotten to know my router pretty good. I would like it more if the desktop login didn’t push me to get the phone App, or change the desktop login to make the 1st screen much more like OK you want to look at your router software and please try the smartphone application. Not small print
