An absolute beast

The range of this is crazy. We all have smartphones and tablets, laptops and gaming systems that are connected and it NEVER lags. I love the security features and you will get a chance to see which devices are connected as well as the option to scan devices for security issues. Money well spent!

Very much needed upgrade for my home. Easy setup with the app. Nighthawk definitely can handle all the devices in the house and there is no lagging when I’m streaming or when multiple devices are in use. Long range reach, no wifi extender needed.

Handles All My Devices Reliably

Recently I relocated to a coastal area that’s underserved by broadband. The best download speed I can get from a local provider is 20Mbps—19Mbps in reality. As I upgraded my laptop and cell phone, added security cameras and switched from satellite TV to a steaming service, it became too much for my 7-year-old router. I looked for a robust model—with particular interest in Netgear because of the quality—and decided on the Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri-Band router (R8000P). I run a business out of my home and rely on dependable wifi. The R8000P easily handles all devices throughout my home—inside and out—with capability for more. I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Best router yet

I currently have 21 devices connected. At any given time 2 TVs streaming, at leave 5 computer systems running allot of different programs and platforms. This router has been flawless so far.
