Faster Wi-Fi and better coverage

I suffered from slow internet and poor coverage from my ATT U-verse Wi-Fi router. I was paying for 1000 mbs speed, but was only seeing about 100 MB’s to my devices. I also had to use mesh extenders to obtain coverage throughout my 2400 sq. ft. home. After installing the Netgear Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi router (R8000P), I saw my speeds drastically increase and now I have complete coverage of my home without the use of mesh extenders. My son, who is a self proclaimed “professional gamer”, couldn’t be happier with the improved speeds. He says he doesn’t lag anymore. My wife and I are happier too when streaming shows without the buffering we used to see. I only wish I would have installed this earlier instead of wasting time trying to get ATT to remedy the situation. I also like the Circle app that works with the Netgear router to help monitor and limit my kids internet usage. All in all, we couldn’t be happier with our purchase. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has the same issues I was having.

This is my second Nighthawk. The only reason I was in need of a new one is because lightening zapped the 1st one and it was done. I am a very satisfied customer and I stick with what proves to be reliable.
