Had the router for about a year and it's been rock solid.
The coverage is amazing and my neighbor 75 feet away piggybacks off mine because it's much faster than his DSL connection.
The only problem I have had and see others with the same problem is the firmware will not update for some reason. Netgear support is aware of this, but no solution has been given.

Set up was fairly simple 2 times through , don’t be afraid to reset and do again . Good coverage good speed and good connectivity to fixed items such as cameras and smart devices .worth the $$

The best router I ever had!

I bought this to replace my old N900 dual band router. My house is only 2000 sq ft but it had issues with wifi due to the plaster walls. After purchasing the RP800 all I can say is that this router is simply amazing. I am getting Wifi speeds over 240mbps where it used to be 60mbps. No need for extenders or access points. This router does it all with ease. Thanks Netgear!

We love it. We can get internet for atleast a block away where before we were doing good to get internet 50 feet away.
