Item is very nice but creates difficulty logging into the router . Other then the login the item works as advertised with lots of additional access to internal system components as well as added security.

my best router thus far

I used to use only Linksys routers before. This was my first Netgear, and the experience is way greater both on setup stage, levels of safety and security, ease of management wether via the app or browser. Speed and flexibility are quite impressive. Will have Netgear as my next router as well.

Great Router - Challenging Setup

The Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Router provides a dramatic improvement to my Wifi. However, it was challenging to setup. I had difficulty getting connection to the internet. I had to call the help line. The tech was very good but it took well over an hour to get things setup even with the tech’s help. I highly recommend the router. I also purchased the new Nighthawk extender which is terrific.
