Got this because network was dropping off in parts of my house with the standard FiOS router and it made a HUGE Difference! Love this router love the app and has also made a huge difference when gaming!

I was looking for a router to replace my Linksys WRT-1900AC, which I have used for over 6 years. Network performance is clearly superior, particularly since I use a NAS device. Since I have a dead zone in the house, I selected the Nighthawk X6S AC3000 Mesh Extender. WiFi performance throughout the house is much improved. Setting up port forwarding was a snap. The web-based interface is straightforward, and easy to use. This was an excellent purchase for me.

I had a different brand modem/router combo, and I only had decent wifi range in my living room. After I purchased this router along with a Netgear modem I have strong wifi range in every part of my house. I can finally stream HD. I wish I would have done this purchase a long time ago.

This is the best router I’ve owned thus far. Worth the money. I also bought a nighthawk modem to go along with and it’s been great. My last router signal kept going out. The only reason i gave it 4 star instead of 5 is because of the parental controls. Last router did all in one app and better control option.
