Stopped Connecting

Frustrating mess of a product to get going once it refuses to connect. Not much support here either. No internet connection, passwords don't work, resets don't work, site doesn't work.....ready to throw it out after 2 years of ownership. It's been down for months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Netgear Won't Fix Static IP Bug

There is a know bug with assigning static IP addresses. This is at least a year and a half old, yet Netgear has not fixed it. Do not buy this router until there is a fix, as this indicates that they won't fix any know security problems either.

Handles many devices

We have 2 Xbox ones, a PlayStation, Wii, Switch, 2 PC's, and 2 phones. We have experienced no lag or frame drop. I would and have recommended this router.

Excellent Router!

I had to use a WiFi range extender with my last router, I placed the Nighthawk 5 feet further away from our kitchen, but still get a 90% signal strength on both 5Gig frequencies! Also, not once has the router dropped the signal like the last one we had. We regularly run 10 devices, (tv, 4 laptops, 3 phones and 2 Directv receivers), and haven't seen any slowdown in speed. I am glad I made this purchase!! I highly recommend this router.

So easy to setup and great network speeds. The UI is very intuitive, simple to navigate and the companion app is great for quick checks, setting up guest accts, ect... Highly recommended..

Frustrating

While in use, signal kept stopping, then troubleshooting, completely reset erasing my wifi settings

Great Router

This is a great router. Covers my 3700 sqft house pretty well. But still fast enough speeds for 4K streaming in all rooms/basement.

Seems to drop randomly

Purchased this device and netgear cable modem, and the appear to drop randomly. Very frustrating to run it to ground
